Speaking and listening notes grade 10
Below, you will find a .notebook file as an example of a Lesson (If you want the Powerpoint please send a message and I will email it to you). You will find Co-constructed Criteria, and a Self Assessment Sheet. We are constructing lessons on life skills. Each student must present their lesson in 5 minutes. We will be refining the files below and updating them, so keep checking back.
Basic Guidelines for how to make your Life-Skills lesson:
1) Give your steps or major points at the beginning (approx. 5 points) 1 minute
2) Do an activity to engage students (Questions, Brainstorming, Groups, Pictures, etc) 1-2 Minutes
3) Video / Demonstration of How To / Second Activity, or Explanation. 2-5 Minutes
4) Closing - Conclude with a summary of points - revisit points from beginning, have students summarize) 1-2 Minutes
